Aaron Marner is a black LGBTQ artist living in Palm Springs. He describes many of his recent works this way:
''I spent time traveling through Germany. I had the opportunity to view a Martha Cooper exhibit, a well known photographer/photojournalist who shot a lot of content of early street and graffiti artists at Urban Nation, a museum in Berlin. I got to see work from one of my favorite artists, French painter Julian Malland aka Seth Globepainter. I took elements of his work, along with inspirations from Bansky, Keith Haring, combining my style of using mixed media, heavy textured paint while incorporating landscape and script style street art lettering displaying positive messaging. Most of that work was created shortly after the passing of my mother and would be displayed in several solo and group shows, featured on PBS as well as the Children's Museum of Phoenix.''
