At Peepa’s, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated assortment of men’s and women’s apparel, art, gifts, and seasonal goods. We focus on showcasing work from independent and local artists and designers, which keeps our store fresh, unique, and full of personality. As a gay-owned business, we’re especially committed to supporting LGBTQ+, Black, and women-owned brands and artists.
Shopping at Peepa’s is more than just browsing—it’s a full experience. Our upbeat music, colorful displays, and friendly staff create a fun, laid-back vibe. One minute you might be dancing to Lizzo, and the next to Donna Summer. We love sharing the stories behind our artists and getting to know where you're from and what brought you to fabulous Palm Springs. Every visit, you’ll discover something new.
Our founder and designer, Jeff, has been a Palm Springs resident since 2016. His retail journey began in 1998 at The Gap, followed by 12 years at Express, and later a buyer position at The Bon-Ton. His passion for retail and design eventually led him to open Peepa’s, a dream rooted in family tradition.
The store is named after Jeff’s great-grandfather, Bud “Peepa” Storch, who—along with his wife Roma—played a major role in Jeff’s upbringing. As a child, Jeff spent countless hours in their basement workshop, watching them create wooden crafts and home goods. He always knew that if he ever opened a store, it would be in their honor.
In February 2025, Peepa’s expanded with the launch of Peepa’s Men’s Store, located right next door. The new space allows our men’s collection to shine with its own playful and stylish energy.
